B2C Product Growth Tactic: Create accruing benefits on-top*** of habits.

Example: Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Card, Starbucks rewards, Uber Rewards (only I became Platinum level)

Identify your user habit (the action users keep coming back for to your product). Apply incentives to the habits to create “lock-in”, and create high switching costs. The more the users use the feature, the more benefit the users should receive.

Now I am forever locked into Amazon and Uber (fortunately, and unfortunately)

I try really hard not* to be part of Starbucks Rewards… only because the experience of “reloading” my Starbucks card takes me out of it and I know is BS…
